KETONE UPDATE:

The past Thanksgiving Weekend Holiday, I was asked by many family and friends about, that "Thing" your on. I never thought of Pruvit as that "Thing". I told many of them, that I will get back to them later. As I did not want to ruin the family holiday fellowship. I'm there to enjoy and have fun with the family, not conduct business.

I started Pruvit Keto OS two years ago. There were many of us that started. But only one person kept going with it. I was one of the ones who stopped because a doctor told me that I would get keto acidosis. After doing research, I learned that was false.

Anyway, I started back on Keto OS on June 29th. Since then, I have dropped my waist size from 48" to 40". I think it's less now because I have to tighten up my belt...yet again. For those who watch weights, I went from 294 lbs to 260 lbs. My shirt size has gone from 4XL to 2XL, and I'm now able to fit into a XL shirt. But it's a snug fit. like wearing a Rash Guard.

My energy has increased. I have restarted my ranch, and am able to walk faster than before. I can now climb stairs, walk up hill, climb ladders, and scaffolding, unlike before.

My Oxygen level averages 98%. No longer use my CPAP device. No longer take 13 of 15 prescribed medications. My last lab work in August, my numbers were "Impressive". I asked if that was a good or bad thing. Doc said, "It's good".

I'm relearning about foods, salts, fats, and Ketones. I stopped eating certain carbs, sugar, soda drinks, and junk foods. I started cooking again. My steaks are the BOMB...Medium Rare to Medium. I enjoy more vegetables and  fruits even on a Keto Lifestyle.

Due to order issues, I started my own version of Pruvit's Reboot. I have most of the products needed to do the Reboot, except for the 10 Keto OS Signal Capsules. So I do my own version, the MATUA ReTune Version. I'm doing my 3rd Matua ReTune Version...started last night. Going for 72 hours, this time.

Rhoda commented on a picture of me, taken at our family Thanksgiving Dinner hosted by my brother Norman, and my sister in law, Lori.  The long sleeved shirt that I was wearing that night, was snug on me during our trip to Israel in January, this year. Now it looks like that it's just hanging on me.

Rhoda asked, if I was going to start running again. I told her, yes. As soon as I drop to 220 lbs, and get new running shoes. Can't run in my Safety Shoes...will get Shin Splints. I might just try though...never know.

I'm on this new journey to be BETTER, The KETONE Lifestyle.

Chiropractic Care

I started seeing my chiropractor in or around February 2018. I asked the VA to refer me to a clinic here on Guahan. It took awhile to get one. It must've been the paper work. But I was eventually assigned to one of the local clinics on Guahan.

My sciatic nerve was bothering me. It all started on our trip to Petra, Jordan. I had decided to do the 2 kilometer walk. That's another story. Anyway, My right leg was in pain and we still had a whole week left of our trip.

I started my treatment in or about February this year. My first visit was really amazing. I was in excruciating pain when I went in. 45 minutes later, when I was done. I was feeling really good. Been going back every week for the last 4 months. And I look forward to it.

Two weeks ago, I hurt myself gathering mangoes from the back of the house. I thought I pulled a muscle along the left side of my chest and mid back. Then last Friday, I went into GRMC's ER thinking I was having a heart attack. Nothing was found. Heart was normal, pain was still in the 10's.

I learned Monday evening that it was actually a pinched nerve at my midback. Stayed in Bed for two days until this morning. Checked into the Chiropractic Clinic. After some manipulation and popping of my spinal column. I was good to go. Still have some mild pain. However, pain went from 10 to upper 3's. I'm now able to move my left arm and twist my torso. All Is Good!  WOOOHOOO!

I'm scheduled to go back tomorrow, Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday. Until I get better from this injury. Looking forward to my visits.

Coconut Oil Treatment.

I had an ear ache for the last two days.  I thought I had injured my ear drum from blowing my nose.   Been fighting this cold symptoms for a couple of weeks already.

Anyway, my left ear started to get sore a couple of days ago.  It was hard laying down on the left side of my head.  The pressure on my ear was unbearable.

Last night, I put Coconut oil in my left ear canal.  This morning, my ear is not as painful as it was last night or the day before.  It is still slightly tender to the touch.

I'm glad I read that article online about coconut oil regarding a little girl with an ear infection.  Her mom put coconut oil in her ear the night before.   Next morning, her ear was just fine.

You won't know if it'll work. If you don't try it.

Missed Appointment

Hawaii VA called this morning.   Lady was asking about lab work today.  I told her I'm scheduled for Friday the 10th.  She asked if that is what I wanted.  I was getting irritated with the question.  I replied tersely that was the schedule the nurse gave last month for this month.

A few minutes ago, I was going to input the data into my phone planner.  There was a note for Monday, yesterday.

On the Note: Labwork USNH.
6 February 2017

Now I realized why Hawaii VA called.  I had missed a scheduled VA appointment.  So the Lady was just trying to reschedule me for sometime this week.

There are times, when I can be a real arse.

Going to have apologise when they call back.

We don't Start it. We Finish it.

Last Friday, Rhoda gave me some bad news regarding our daughter.  At first, I was thinking bad grades, or boyfriend.  So I took a deep breath and awaited the bad news that was being dropped on me.

Rhoda mentioned to me, "Your daughter beat up two girls at school today.  But it was in self defense.  One girl was bullying your daughter for a couple of months.  Today,  that girl was pushing Larraine.  And Larraine told her to stop.  When she pushed your daughter again.  Larraine beat her up.  The girl's friend tried to back her up.  But your daughter beat her up too".

As Rhoda was telling me all this.  I was trying to show concern during our face time.  But when I heard: bullying your daughter,  Larraine beat them up, and they're both injured.

I just laughed out loud.  It was hilarious.  I was rolling on the bed laughing...not floor...the bed.

After I had regained my composure.
Rhoda said, "I asked her why she did that".
Larraine replied, "Mommy...daddy said, "we don't start it.  We finish it"".
"I could not say anything else.  Because you told her that", Rhoda exclaimed, "What else can I say?".

I just started laughing again.

Later on, I was able to talk to Larraine and get the gist of what happened.  Apparently,  this girl and her friend were bullying Larraine for two months.  Calling her names, pushing her around.  But it wasn't just my daughter getting bullied.  It was also the other students in the classroom.  Last Friday, Larraine told that girl to stop.  She didn't listen.  So she and her friend paid the price.

I've taught my children to fight to defend themselves.  Larraine was five years old.  Frenfren was two years old.  When I started training them.  Both have defended themselves or others before.

One of our Codes,  "We don't start fights.  We finish it".

SSHO: Short Contracts.

I enjoy working these short project contracts.  At first, I was concerned that the salary won't be much.  However, my other ventures covered that area. I'm only on site for a couple of hours per day.  Then I go work on other projects after I leave the job site.  Or I just go home to relax.  This arrangements also allows me to continue with my teaching schedule.

I'm currently writing a proposal for another SSHO contract.  A 2-week contract for carpet installation.

If the negotiations go in my favor, this will be the 4th short contract for the year.  I've completed one earlier in January/February, this year.  A Confined Space contract for Fiber Optic Installation.  Currently I'm working a demolition/renovation project.  That should finish this Friday.  There is one more short contract, a 14 day contract.  It's another Confined Space project for a fiber optic/copper wire installation.  Waiting for the "Go" signal  to start work on that project.
